Waves can reach on height of 100 foots in height (about 30 m.), and cause set of destructions ashore. Sometimes tsunami wrongly name «a tidal wave», but in a reality it has no anything the general with inflow.

Hawaii are the state subject to the greatest risk of occurrence of a tsunami, practically all photos of a tsunami are made here. On the statistican, small tsunami arise here annually, and serious, bringing a damage - somewhere time in 7 years. In a risk zone there is Alaska, California, Oregon and Washington, in them on the average tsunami arise time in 18 years.
